My experience with Kamilla and her amazing team through pregnancy and giving birth have been absolutely wonderful! Not only she is an amazing professional, but also a wonderful human being. She connects, empower and make you feel in good hand and respected. This is a wonderful option if you are looking for someone that will walk with you whatever you choises are, and especially if you are wanting to give birth naturally.
I also highly reccomend Jonathan as his gentle approach to fisio has been making me feel better while pregnant that ever before, helping solve all the backpain and sciatic issues I’ve had before and during the pregnancy.

Als nicht-Spanisch-sprechende, schwangere Deutsche war es ein Glücksgriff für mich diese Frauenarztpraxis in Madrid zu finden – solch eine liebevolle, aufmerksame und kompetente Begleitung in meiner Schwangerschaft, bei der Geburt und in der Nachsorge! Dr. Kamilla Hallier – Kamilla – hat sich nicht nur bei ihrem ersten Termin mit mir viel Zeit genommen und mich gut informiert und aufgeklärt, sondern geht auch jederzeit auf individuelle Wünsche, Fragen und Probleme ein, wie ich es bisher selten bei Ärzten erlebt habe. Sie hat ein ganz außerordentliches Team zusammengeführt, sodass, rund um die  gynäkologische Behandlung an sich, auch Physiotherapie, Osteopathie, Stillberatung, Hebammen, Yogakurse für Schwangere, psychotherapeutische Unterstützung uvm. möglich sind. Dazu die beiden immer hilfsbereiten, super netten, kompetenten Damen am Empfang Anna und Veronika, die u. a. alles dafür tun schnelle Termine zu organisieren.
Neben Deutsch wird auch Englisch und Spanisch gesprochen, sodass das «Internationale Zentrum» seinem Ruf mehr als gerecht wird. Im Yogakurs zu Beginn habe ich gleich vier tolle Soon-to-be-Mummies kennengelernt, mit denen ich mich austauschen konnte. Es ist toll, die Hebamme und Ärztin zu kennen, die entbinden wird und der Kreissaal ist sehr komfortabel und praktisch eingerichtet, sodass eine Geburt nach individuellen Wünschen möglich ist. Die Nachbetreuung erfolgte dann ebenso engagiert.
Insgesamt erwartete mich sowohl fachlich als auch menschlich eine 1A-Betreuung, vielen Dank!

As a non-Spanish speaking, pregnant German it was a stroke of luck for me to find this gynaecological practice in Madrid – such a loving, attentive and competent companion in my pregnancy, birth and aftercare! Dr. Kamilla Hallier – Kamilla – not only took a lot of time for me at her first appointment and informed me well, but also responded to individual wishes, questions and problems at any time, as I have rarely experienced with doctors before. She has brought together a very extraordinary team, so that physiotherapy, osteopathy, breastfeeding advice, midwives, yoga courses for pregnant women, psychotherapeutic support and much more are also possible. In addition the two always helpful, super nice, competent ladies at the reception Anna and Veronika, who among other things do everything for you to get appointments as fast as possible.
In addition to German, English and Spanish are spoken, so that the «International Centre» more than lives up to its reputation. In the yoga course at the beginning I got to know four great Soon-to-be-Mummies, with whom I could exchange myself. It’s great to know the midwife and the doctor who will give birth, and the Kreissaal is very comfortable and practical, so that a birth according to individual wishes is possible. The aftercare was just as dedicated.
All in all, a 1A care awaited me both professionally and personally, thank you very much!

Kamilla is a wonderful doctor which I found by coincidence when I was browsing the web for a German speaking gynecologist as I moved from Germany to Madrid. She was way over my expectations as she is not just a lovely person, but also super professional (unfortunately this combination is very hard to find nowadays). Also she takes all the time you need, is very patient and understanding for your questions and concerns. So you will feel 100% comfortable having her as your doctor, this I can guarantee. The fact that she is multilingual (German, English, Spanish, all fluently!) is also a big plus and and that’s not to be taken granted, especially in Spain. Also compliments to her receptionists Anna and Veronika, who were also extremely nice and very helpful (also fluent in three languages btw). I always felt super comfortable there, what can I ask for more. Danke für alles 🙂

I came in to see Dr. Kamilla for a Gynecological issue. I have never walked away feeling more assured and comfortable. She was delightful to talk to and instantly put me at ease. At no point did I feel awkward or uncomfortable. A wonderful experience and I would recommend her and the International Women’s Centre to anyone.

When I first got pregnant, I was looking for a doctor to walk me through till the birth. It was my first pregnancy so I didn’t Know exactly what I was looking for in a doctor, but when I met Kamilla I knew that was it!
From the first minute you walk into her clinic, you realize something different. Starting from the clean relaxing design, through the friendly and helpful secretaries, and of course the professional team (physiotherapists, osteopath, midwifes) leaded by Dr. Kamilla.
If you are looking for a doctor who is a profesional but less conventional than the average in Spain, who is more open minded for modern childbirth methods, in favor of natural birth and maybe most importantly is a human being – Kamilla is the perfect choice for you!

What a great team – I have never had a better doctors experience in my entire life 
I switched to Kamilla and her two lovely midwifes Ann-Sophie and Cristina fairly late in my first pregnancy because I decided to have a natural birth experience and didn’t really find that supported in the general or private Spanish health care system. At every appointment Kamilla took her time to explain everything in detail, answer questions and just in general was extremely attentive. Both midwifes were amazing in the private birth prep classes we took and helped immensely after birth with lactation advice and a home visit. I credit it to them that the birth went so quick and effortless – knowing that they were the ones taking care of me and respecting my choices made me very relaxed. If we decide on a second mini, we will definitely chose Kamilla and her team again from the start and make use of their other offers (prenatal yoga, etc.) a biiig Thank you from Luis, Toni-Lu and me.

Dr. Kamilla Hallier is AMAZING. I made an emergency appointment, and she fit me in same day for a gynecological visit. She speaks perfect English, as well as German. I had been having some pains and concerns about my IUD and she performed several tests to see what was wrong. It was all very comprehensive and I felt well informed and like I was in very capable hands. Turns out my IUD had fallen out and my previous gynecologist had not performed a single sonogram to show me what was happening. Dr Hallier showed me and explained very well what had gone wrong, then made an appointment to have a new IUD put in in two days time. This appointment was also perfect as I barely felt any pain.
I am from the US and traveling while having a medical issue can be very daunting. However, Dr. Hallier and IWHCM made me feel very safe and completely taken care of. I can not recommend her highly enough! Please go see her if you are having a gynecological issue.

This is one of the best experiences with a medical practitioner that I have ever had. I normally find these kinds of visits very upsetting but Kamilla and the reception staff made me feel so comfortable.

Kamilla was incredibly thorough, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was sorted. Her manner is exceptional, she is funny and I felt relaxed and knew I was safe hands from the moment I met her.

They also work with the hospital to get my blood results for a more wholistic approach, which I haven’t seen in Spain (normally it seems that everything is much harder than it needs to be!). I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I always follow my instinct and meeting Dr. Kamilla Hallier was no different. Although I live in NYC, I wanted to be close to my parents when delivering. I also didn’t have much confidence in the care I would receive in the U.S. as statistics show an ever rising percentage of c-sections and mismanaged postnatal care. So, I began doing research on doctors in Madrid, Spain who had a more natural, holistic approach and ran across Kamilla’s practice. From the moment I met her I felt she and her team were extraordinary, and on the day my daughter was born they far surpassed all of my expectations. Cristina and Kamilla were a dream team. They were incredibly attentive, thorough, compassionate and kind every step of the way. I am leaving Madrid knowing that I was in the best hands. Thank you to Dr. Hallier, my midwife Cristina and the entire team at the IWHCM for such a beautiful birth experience.

Kamilla and her brilliant team helped and cared for me during my second pregnancy and the birth of my son Max. Kamilla is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also a lovely, kind and funny person. I always looked forward to my appointments with her and her team (by the end of my pregnancy I basically lived at IWHC, seeing Kamilla, Jonathan, Irene, Cristina and Ann-Sophie in rotation !) – they have created such a nurturing and comforting space, for which I am extremely grateful.

Kamilla is obviously a big fan of the natural way, but she took my concerns and fears seriously and, given my medical history, we decided that a planned c-section was the best decision for me. I felt 100% supported in this decision. On the day I was totally terrified but Kamilla and Cristina did a great job keeping me calm. Kamilla’s surgical handiwork is obviously top-notch (5 weeks after the operation my scar is tiny and very attractive, as far as scars go…) and the post-surgery care was extremely thorough.

I would not hesitate to recommend Kamilla and the team to anyone. I hated being pregnant and the c-section was no fun (despite Kamilla’s best efforts), but I would seriously consider a third child just to get to hang out at IWHC some more.

Kamilla and Anna (at the front desk) make you feel so welcome and well cared for, as if you visiting a good old friend who happens to be a gynecologist.
They are so well organised, and make it look easy, always greeting you with a big smile. There was no question unanswered, and always a few minutes more just to see how we are doing.
The clinic offers you the All-inclusive package, so you dont have to worry about a thing – a fact, I was very thankful for during pregnancy because I was everything between unorganised and forgetful. They offer the medical advice of Kamilla, the experience and tips of the two midwives Ann-Sophie and Cristina, the sportive attention of Irene (physiotherapist) and Estela (pilates teacher), and the lovely personality of them all – especially Anna, who listened to my worries and always had five (or more) minutes for my chitchat.
If you, like me, are not a fan of either doctors or hospitals, this is the right clinic for you.If you dont want to feel like a patient but a welcome visitor seeking some help, Kamilla and her team is the best choice!

After some disappointing as well as «traumatizing» experiences in a public hospital I had the urgent need for a better alternative.
Lucky enough my partner found Kamillas clinic on the internet and from the first moment I entered there I knew I was in good hands. My impression proofed right throughout the whole pregnancy of our first child and especially during the delivery. Kamilla and her team (Anna, Cristina, Ann-Sophie) have been nothing but competent, understanding and human.
My whole pregnancy and the birth of my beautiful daughter was one amazing experience thanks to them. We really appreciate what they have done for us and words can hardly describe how thankful we are.

I contacted Dr. Hallier while in search of a English speaking OBGYN in Madrid. From the very first appointment, she has been a constant source of encouragement and support. She was extremely patient will all my queries, she provided me impeccable pre natal healthcare and during this period, she became a wonderful source of strength for me.
The clinic itself is very beautiful in a minimalistic way and the moment you step in, you feel calm and reassured.
Anna, the receptionist/admin is very warm and friendly, and it is very touching to see how she cares to remember all your particulars.
Whenever I needed any kind of document from Anna and Dr Hallier, they provided them promptly. It was amazing to see how gladly they try to help you with anything they can.
Christina, the midwife, too gave me very useful advise and was very thorough and patient in explaining me everything.
Most importantly, Dr Hallier, supported me entirely despite my unusual choice to opt for a C-section. She made sure that I was fully informed of my choices, but when I decided to opt for C-section, she respected my choice as she herself said «Its her body, her choice» I am very grateful to Dr Hallier for this; for permitting to decide how I give birth no matter hoe strange the choice.
During the C-section surgery, Dr Hallier and her team were once again very assuring and supportive and helped me stay calm. She and her team did a wonderful job, my scar and stitches were perfect. Even during my recovery process, Dr Hallier and Anna were a huge help. They dont treat you as just patients but take genuine interest in your life, which indeed heart-warming.
I am a first time mom, and I cannot be thankful enough to Dr Hallier, Anna and Christina for making this a truly memorable experience. They were my biggest support besides my parents and I will truly cherish my moments with them.

My experience with Dra. Hallier (Kamilla) and her team has been amazing. I am now the mother of three child. I had my first one in Barcelona, a natural birth with epidural, a second one in Switzerland natural and accidentally without epidural and this last April, a baby girl 100% planned natural and without epidural. I had been through the pain and my recovery had been better with the second child. So, this time, I wanted to prepare physically and mentally for it.
And I have to say that this was the best of all three. Kamilla, Cristina (midwife) and Anna (admin) were increidible as a team. Each with a fundamental role for such an important event.
Few things I would highlight:

• Kamilla has an amazing combination of pragmatism, love for her work and empowering you all the way through the process. I felt better informed than before and more encouraged. She makes you feel like a power woman. During labor in particular, I remember her voice and instructions to go through that special time. Always focused and supporting me through the hardest times.

• Her office and the Clinica Nuevo Belen environment and natural birth área is fantastic. You feel as close a possible of being home but with all the security and support you may need if things turn into a difficult direction. We were able to put music and enjoy the waiting and dilatation process as easy as you can imagine (even with our own playlist, a cappuccino and some lovely snacks we were able to bring along).

• Cristina was a wonderful midwife before, during and after the baby was born. I learned many things from her about my body and what was going to happen that help me prepare mentally and physically. And this was my third child! She loves her work and she is a great partner and companion all through the process. Also, as she is our yoga teacher, you develope a connection that helps a lot for the difficult times. And she knows when be 100% in or walk away if you need to be by yourself during labor time.

• Admin stuff and appointments, bills, and while agenda management can be a pain. That is why I also appreciated Annas work. She keeps all the team on track and makes things easier. She was quick and agile solving problems and proposing new solutions.

In general, after this whole process, maternity and labor got a different meaning. More profound and better experience, mentally and physically. And of course, because of that wellbeing situation, your recovery as well as baby behavior goes much better.
I deeply recommend for any mum as this will make your experience of another dimension than traditional birth processes.

Sólo tengo palabras de agradecimiento y todavía sigo en una nube tras dar a luz este 28.01. Tuve un primer parto en un hospital privado con muy buena reputación pero muy intervencionista con mi primera hija, que para mí fue traumatico y me destrozó el suelo pelvico (cistocele nivel 3 y rectocele nivel 2) limitando mi calidad de vida y haciendo rehabilitación continua desde la cuarentena simplemente para no ir a peor. Antes de considerar un segundo embarazo miré primero ginecólogos y hospitales pues me horrorizaba pasar por lo mismo y sólo me iba a quedar embarazada si encontraba un profesional de toda mi confianza . Mi fisio de suelo pelvico -Begoña Caldera, que gracias a ella he mejorado un montón y la tengo como un ángel- me recomendó sin duda a Kamilla por su trato cariñoso y asegurarme un buen parto respetado. Su matrona Cristina Rodríguez me encantó desde el primer momento y tenia claro que quería que estuviese en mi parto. Cercana y natural, te hace confiar en tu cuerpo que es capaz de parir y concebirlo como un proceso natural. Nos dio en la preparación al parto que fue sólo para nosotros un montón de ejercicios para el proceso de parto, técnicas de masajes, remedios naturales para preparar el cuerpo para el parto y cuidados posparto. En todo momento tienes comunicación con ella para cualquier duda. Y en el parto me relajó mucho con masajes y reflexologia. Lo que fue espectacular fue el día del parto y todo mi agradecimiento a Kamilla. Fue grandiosa. En cualquier otro hospital no hubieran tenido la misma paciencia y cariño conmigo . Mi parto fue inducido y mi cuerpo no fue respondiendo bien a la dinámica de parto natural y antes de considerar la cesárea fue proponiendome alternativas, explicándomelas paso a paso, siendo super respetuosa, animándome y siendo muy cariñosa. No es plan de detallarlo exactamente pero como muestra del buen rollo y para animarme hubo un momento en que matrona, gine, mi marido y yo terminamos bailando salsa para que movilizara bien mi pelvis para la progresión del parto. Tuvo 3 decisiones super acertadas que nos propuso en el parto y mi niña tuvo un nacimiento natural precioso. Acaban de pasar sólo 2 dias y lo veo como un sueño…no me lo puedo creer todavía. Yo sin ningún punto ni desgarro, no me he llegado a tomar ningún ibuprofeno…me siento como si no hubiera parido y parto de una situación con suelo pelvico dañado. Me siento genial, fuerte y feliz. Mi niña perfecta con un expulsivo bello como si fuera a cámara lenta. Mi marido al lado de Kamilla y yo viendo en un espejo su pelito, en 3 respiraciones saqué su cabecita, la toqué y finalmemte sacó su cuerpo ella solita muy despacito. Mi niña es muy tranquila y creo que también tiene que ver mucho ese nacimiento hermoso y sin prisa.³³Nada más salir nuestra niña, mi marido miró a Kamilla y le dijo «gracias». Para mí tiene un valor incalculable todo esto y va a ser un recuerdo precioso para toda la vida.

If I wouldn’t have found Kamilla and her wonderful team, I would have gone back to my home country The Netherlands for giving birth. Before getting pregnant, I heard a lot of stories about very medical ways of giving birth in Spain that were far from what I wanted the birth of my baby to look like. I found Kamilla and immediately connected with her. Her positive but down to earth energy was very helpful during pregnancy and I was amazed at how she was always available to answer all my questions and keep me calm when I worried about something. I felt very safe to have someone with such a natural approach to pregnancy & birth as my OBGYN and this made me even look forward to giving birth! During labour & birth, the wonderful calm presence of Ann-Sophie combined with the energy of Kamilla made me feel safe & respected. I felt I could trust whatever they suggested was the right thing at that moment which is very useful when you want to focus on breathing and riding the waves of your contractions. Now as a mom, I still get wonderful advice from Ann-Sophie on breastfeeding and caring for my baby. Looking back at the whole process of pregnancy, giving birth & beyond, I’m almost nostalgic at how beautifully these women have guided me. They are more than just a gynecologist and a midwife: they really see the person in front of them and find ways that suit that specific person. I’m so grateful to have met them!

Als ich nach Madrid zog, war ich bereits schwanger und ziemlich nervös, da ich das spanische Gesundheitssystem nicht kannte und die Sprache auch nicht sonderlich gut sprach. Ich habe dann durch eine Empfehlung von Kamilla gehört und war diekt nach dem ersten Termin total begeistert. Zu wissen, dass Kamilla mich mit ihrer Professionalität und ihrer Herzlichkeit in dieser Zeit begleitet, hat mir wahnsinnig viel Ruhe gegeben. Es wurde schon während der Vorsorgetermine klar, dass Kamilla bei allem, was sie tut, das Wohlbefinden von Baby und Mutter als höchste Priorität ansieht. Deswegen ist es mir während der Geburt sehr leicht gefallen, mich einfach komplett fallen zu lassen und auf Kamilla und Ann-Sophie zu vertrauen. Ohnehin sind die beiden ein tolles Team. Auch der Geburtsvorbereitungskurs und vor allem die Hausbesuche von Ann-Sophie nach der Geburt haben mir sehr geholfen mit der neuen Situation zurecht zu kommen. Ihre ruhige und positive Art geben einem das Gefühl, dass man den neuen Herausforderungen schon gewachsen sein wird. Sollte ich nochmal irgendwann schwanger sein, werde ich wohl wieder in Deutschland sein. Ich weiß allerdings jetzt schon, dass ich dann Kamilla und Ann-Sophie sehr vermissen werde.

Una doctora impresionante, una gran profesional, dedicada y atenta en todo momento, un trato inmejorable, nos llevo el embarazo y el parto y todo fue muy bien, nos aconsejo y resolvio todas nuestras dudas de manera profesional y cercana, sin duda repetiremos en nuestro proximo niño/a encantados con su profesionalidad y con su matrona Ann Sophie, no podemos decir nada negativo, todo son agradecimientos y buenos recuerdos.

El pasado domingo di a luz con Kamilla y Anne Sophie, de una forma muy distinta a la esperada pero con la tranquilidad de haber hecho lo que debíamos más allá de las ilusiones de todas. Dos semanas antes de dar a luz cambié de ginecóloga y aterricé en la consulta de Kamilla, que me recibió con una gran sonrisa y una energia estupenda. Viajé desde Cuba para dar a luz en la sala de parto natural y terminé en quirófano con una cesárea pero puedo decir que Kamilla y Anne Sophie me dieron toda la tranquilidad del mundo, toda la seguridad y toda la atención que un momento así necesita. Nunca pusieron en riesgo mi salud ni la de mi bebé y siempre nos explicaron con detalle la situación tal y como era. Muchas gracias a las dos!!!

Llevé el embarazo y el parto de mi segunda hija con la Dra. Kamilla y la matrona Ann-Sophie, a las que llegué después de mucho buscar un equipo respetuoso y profesional, que me generase confianza total, y sin duda llevar mi embarazo y parto con ellas ha sido una de las mejores elecciones que he tomado.
