Physiotherapist:
Alex Soria Pineño

Physiotherapy is the treatment of physical discomfort or limitations of body functions and restrictions in one’s movement. Depending on the indication, different techniques might be used, e.g. manual treatment through massages, stretching or by applying pressure, but also physical stimulants such as heat, cold or radiation and electricity can be applied. The aim is the rehabilitation, preservation or stimulation of health and the achievement of a pain-free state or at least a pain reduction. In order to achieve quicker and better results, our therapists often use radiofrequency.

Respiratory physiotherapy

Respiratory physiotherapy is a treatment that makes it possible to strengthen the respiratory muscles to optimize the capacity of the lungs and improve the quality of life of the patient thanks to the application and repetition of ventilatory techniques.

The benefits of respiratory physiotherapy, both in adults and children, go far beyond the expulsion of the mucous from the body of patients. With the application of respiratory techniques it is possible to improve the health and well-being of people who suffer pulmonary diseases, acute respiratory diseases or neuromuscular diseases that affect the muscles involved in breathing, such as, ALS. Likewise, this therapy will be essential for the complete recovery of patients who have overcome COVID-19.

On the other hand, child respiratory physiotherapy is key in the recovery of children with bronchiolitis and bronchitis, avoiding infections of the lung mucous and therefore avoiding hospitalizations.

It seeks to improve and work on muscular condition to correct bad sports gestures, optimizing both sports practice and small daily gestures.
