The news that my husband and I were expecting a baby came as a (very happy!) surprise; not knowing Madrids healthcare system, I came across a review of Dr. Kamilla Hallier whilst researching online. We cannot speak highly enough of her and Ann-Sophie; they both clearly love their work and their experience, professionalism and passion were greatly appreciated, especially as this was my first pregnancy. It was also great to find that we shared many similar views of pregnancy and childbirth, especially as I had read several comments about the more traditional approach generally adopted in Spain. My husband and I both travel a lot and had demanding schedules to work around. Dr. Hallier was nothing but flexible and accommodating, making every effort to fit my appointments in around this. Dr. Hallier provided support and care above and beyond what I expected, keeping in touch in between appointments and always being available to answer any questions or address any concerns. The birthing room facilities are amazing and made a real difference during my labour; my husband and I both appreciated the privacy, dedicated care and various birthing aids available. Ann-Sophie was fantastic at keeping me calm and focused, and Dr. Hallier was brilliant in delivering a healthy and happy baby girl, in quicker time than anticipated! They are a great team and I felt in very safe hands throughout the whole 9 months. Our experience was excellent, far better than we could have hoped for and superior to the care available to us elsewhere, including in our home countries. We have continued to be in touch with both Dr. Hallier and Ann-Sophie several weeks after the birth, and they have been so helpful in organising post-natal support. All in all, we really appreciated everything Dr. Hallier and Ann-Sophie did for us, and best of all, feel we have made some friends in the process! Thank you both so much!
