Pregnancy yoga

Held by one of our midwives, this weekly class is for pregnant women from the 12th week of gestation until they go into labor.
It is about stretching, toning muscles, breathing techniques and relaxation. Most of the women really enjoy to be in touch with a midwife already during their early pregnancy. It also gives participants who choose to give birth with our team the opportunity to get in touch with the midwife who will be assisting during labor and birth.
What to bring: exercise towel
Duration: 60 minutes

Pregnancy Pilates

Held by our experienced Pilates-trainer, this weekly class is for pregnant women from the 12th week of gestation until they go into labor.
Pilates is a very effective way to keep your body in shape, well toned and flexible. It is important to stay fit for the upcoming labor and birth!
What to bring: exercise towel
Duration: 60 minutes

Birth-preparation classes

Our midwifes offer regular birth-preparation classes. Usually, the course consists of four consecutive classes throughout the third trimester of your pregnancy. The titles of the classes are:

  1. Preparing for a healthy birth
  2. The birth process
  3. Tips for partners
  4. After childbirth

The third class will be held in the labor room of the hospital so that you can get familiarized with the location.
If preferred, our midwifes are also happy to see you for an individual birth preparation class.
