To put it simply, as my husband would say, Kamilla is the business! ??We had been seeing a Spanish obstetrician before meeting Dr. Hallier at 25 weeks pregnant (Although we had briefly met a few months back on a quick consultation before she opened IWHCM). Despite the obstetrician being a lovely person, he was old-fashioned in his ways and did not speak English, which was a problem for my husband who can’t speak Spanish very well. With my plan of having a natural birth at jeopardy and my husband essentially feeling left out, we decided to look for another doctor. I stumbled upon Dr. Kamilla’s website after reading several positive reviews and immediately made an appointment. After our first meeting together, we were elated and felt it was meant to be that we had met her once again. ??Dr. Kamilla is enthusiastic, thorough, very knowledgeable, professional and clearly loves what she does. I loved her mentality and outlook on the birthing process and her outgoing personality automatically put my first-time pregnancy jitters at ease. The same can be said about the mid-wife Anne-Sophie, who not only offered excellent prenatal classes, but was the encouraging voice I needed through labour. ??All in all, I couldn’t imagine a better and more positive and peaceful birthing experience. With both Kamilla and Anne-Sophie by my side, I felt safe, relaxed and most importantly, in complete control to make the decisions I wanted to. I cannot recommend them enough!
